Optical Communities
was formed to better serve the communications needs of residents living in multi-family residential communities, including gated
communities, apartment communities, condominiums, and town homes, by offering a fully integrated communications bundle of high-speed
broadband Internet access, DIRECTV, and Home Phone service. We design, construct, install, maintain, support and manage
these services.
Multi-family communities have unique needs – requiring customized telecommunications solutions being flexible to the needs of property
owners/developers and residents, including fiber-based broadband networks that offer superior reliability and performance, and comprehensive
access to programming content. Resident’s needs are changing – they are much more technologically astute, especially
regarding access to fiber optics, and consider high-speed broadband service a utility.
Led by a team of industry veterans, Optical
Communities primary focus is on providing bulk services for high-speed broadband Internet access and DIRECTV, because this
is what provides the greatest value to both property owners/developers and residents. The principals of Optical Communities have a combined 50 years as a service provider in the telecommunications space, building, managing and operating networks
providing video, broadband Internet access and telephone service collectively serving urban, metro, suburban, exurban and rural areas to
hundreds of thousands of multi-family communities (apartment communities, condos, master planned communities, retirement communities);
single-family residences; hospitality (hotels/motels, senior living, military bases, student housing); and commercial businesses
establishments.
